Services: PIV Consulting | Logical Access Control Integration | Software Development
PIV Implementation Strategy Development: Working with key management stakeholders, authored a practical phased PIV implementation plan for credential issuance and access control enablement.
NIST 800-79 PCI Accreditation: Working with the ICE HPSD-12 program management office, assisted with the PCI accreditation tasks of issuing facilities.
Custom software development:
Developed security software to synchronize PIV card data with various identity management repositories to enable the PIV card to serve as an authentication device in the logical access control system. Worked with DHS technology experts to develop requirements, create functional designs, build and install the solution.
PIV Logical Access simulation lab:
Installed various identity management systems, biometric technologies, PIV solutions and single sign on software to provide a “pre production” testing ground for PIV technologies.

PIV system integration support:
Installed, configured and operated the ActivIdentity Card Management System and Batch Management System. Designed a self service card activation platform to allow end users to activate their PIV card without the need of an administrator.
Public key infrastructure integration:
Worked with shared service providers from Entrust, Treasury and Exostar to connect the PIV card management system to different public key infrastructures.
Training: Helped designed custom training modules to train users on PIV card personalization and management.
Help Desk: Provided Tier Three technical support to troubleshoot problems related to card management system processing, digital certificate generation and batch printing.

Custom software development:
Developed core software modules in the EDS Assured Identity™ product suite to provide smart card activation, biometric verification and identity management system reporting.
Public key infrastructure integration:
Worked with shared service providers from Entrust, Treasury and Exostar to connect the PIV card management system to different public key infrastructures.
System Integration: Installed the ActivIdentity card management system, certificate authority and IDMS modules for various credentialing programs including: Virginia First Responders Authentication Card (FRAC) , Federated Identity Cross-Credentialing System (FiXs) and the Northrop Grumman One Badge initiative.
Smart Card Software Development: Created smart card terminal software to read data from various card platforms to provide an easy to use multi-factor authentication control.
